With all my love, I just sent a piece of my heart to my best friend who is celebrating her marriage in Tokyo on May 5th (Children's Day in Japan... which is such a freakin' wonderful national holiday). Unfortunately, I won't be able to go do to visa related matters (as I'm in the process of preparing applications for an Artist Visa), so here it is, a part of me will be there in the form I'm most happy being!
Minami is a special girl I've come to know through my younger brother, a musician who was in the same band as Minami's now husband. Shunsuke is an awesome hard rock guitarist whom Minami has been with for over 8 years. They got married almost 2 years ago, and now they're celebrating their beautiful relationship in the form of a wedding ceremony with their closest friends, colleagues and family. My brother Terry, also a soon to be director at a TV production company in Tokyo, shot footages of their life to make a documentary style video to air at the after party.
My heart goes out to Minami, Shunsuke and their loving Kuu-chan, the Yorkie for the happiness they share with the rest of the world. May they do so for ever. Big hug from L.A.
Much Latin heat, rock, funk, blues infused tunes, Sorry, Nelson keeps you movin'. I love going to their shows. I love each and every one of the members. So I was really very fortunate to be able to design sets for their music video for "Gone". Stay tuned! More to come within the next couple months.
'Till then, here's Sorry, Nelson performing "Dejame Amarte". Diva, Marisilda Garcia and her voice's got so much soul. Enjoy!
Here's a peek of the set of a new web series "Wishful Things" that I worked on as a production designer! More information to come on the show in a bit...
Shades of pink, green, blue and yellows were used for this set and a lot of fake cupcakes! More information to come on the show... stay cupcaked.
